H.P. Lovecraft's Arkham was filled with unspeakable horrors and nameless evils.

Almost a century after Lovecraft first imagined the fictional city of Arkham, Massachusetts, it was ressurrected (reanimated possibly?) by the Batman comics, as a place where unspeakably evil supervillains are incarcerated.

2013's Arkham Origins sees Batman being hunted by eight of the world's deadliest assassins, in the latest installment of the Batman: Arkham series.
