The 1st of April, as many of you will know, is April Fools' Day!
What you may not know is that (according to some) prior to the Christian calendar, April 1st was the end of a week-long New Year's festival, and it was renamed "April Fools' Day" by The Church, to say "anyone that believes this to be New Year's Day is a fool" in an attempt to subdue the older religions and spread Christianity.
Nowadays, the old calendar is long forgotten, and yet the celebration of non-Christian foolishness is still practised by many.
And so if you're a bit of a practical joker, maybe fancy getting into the spirit of things. grab an April Fools' Day tote bag and get pranking!
