Erwin Schrödinger's famous thought experiment, "Schrödinger's Cat" involves a hypothetical cat, a flask of poison, and a radioactive source inside a sealed box.
If an internal radiation monitor detects radioactive decay, the flask is shattered, releasing the poison, which kills the cat.
The Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics implies that after a certain amount of time, the cat is simultaneously alive and dead.
However, as soon as we look inside the box, we see that the cat is either alive or dead, not both alive and dead.
So, when exactly does quantum superposition end for reality to collapse into one possibility or the other?

A social superposition if you will.
